Position: Resin and Electrocoat Senior Production Manager


Description: CK Group are currently seeking a Resin and Electrocoat Senior Production Manager on behalf of a global leading manufacturer. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient production of resins, a critical component in paint manufacturing, supporting multiple strategic business units (SBUs). This role involves overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), production, quality control, continuous improvement, maintenance and engineering, as well as shipping and receiving operations. The manager will also drive the execution of roadmap projects and serve as a key member of the Delaware leadership team.


Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is based on-site at the Delaware, Ohio manufacturing facility, where you will lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives within the resin operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in EHS compliance, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring regulatory adherence.

  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and team actions.

  • Foster engagement and development opportunities for team members to enhance capabilities.

  • Work closely with the HR Manager to manage the relationship with the union workforce.

  • Guide the implementation of the plant s future state roadmap to meet strategic goals.

  • Support supply chain activities, including inventory management, logistics, and procurement.

  • Communicate effectively with all supporting functions to ensure operational alignment.




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry.

  • A minimum of 10 years of industrial management experience in resins or chemical manufacturing.

  • Lean and Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification (preferred).

  • Strong project management skills.



This is a permanent, on-site position, located in Delaware, Ohio.
