Description: Adelphi is seeking highly qualified Licensed Practical Nurses who can provide 1:1 nursing services to K-12 students with disabilities at a school district in New York.

Responsibilities:

Accompany students in the school bus to and from school.

Coverse with parents/guardians and school personnel as required.

Confirm all medications and physician orders are with the student before departing the student's premises and/or school.

Review all doctors orders for students.

Observe students during the day in the classroom and on the bus ride for any medical situations and emergencies.

Perform any and all skilled nursing procedures as ordered.

Document all skilled nursing procedures as well as report any medical situations and emergencies.
