Description: VeloSource has a Pathologist Opportunity in Portsmouth, OH.
- Must be Board Certified
- 248 bed hospital
- Coverage Need: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Case load: 40 to 60 surgical cases, 10 Cytology cases
- Staff support: 1 pathologist, 3 histo-techs, 2 tech assts. and 2 cytotechnologists
- Anatomical and Clinical Pathology
- Cytology cases: GI, Breast, Lung, Surg. nephrology, Gen. Path., Minimal hematology, gyn and non gyn peripheral smears only.
- NO NEURO, PEDS, or AUTOPSIES
- Performs own grossing and cuts own frozen sections.
