Description: Description: Job Description: Aquatic Events Manager About Us: SPIRE Institute & Academy (IA) is a comprehensive academic, athletic, personal skills and career development experience located within a world class event and wellness complex. Constructed on nearly 500 acres with more than 750,000 sq. ft. under roof, SPIRE () encompasses four divisions: SPIRE Academy, an accredited college preparatory international boarding school and multi-sport/specialty training and development academy for 9-12 graders and a post grad program; SPIRE Institute, the research and development arm studying performance improvement across multiple disciplines; SPIRE Events, a facility and team that hosts local, national and international tournaments and events with the NCAA, the Big East, Big Ten and Atlantic 10 conferences, Olympic trials and world championship qualifiers; and SPIRE Fit, a community membership-based fitness, swim and health center open to the public. Sports currently featured on campus include swimming, track and field, basketball, esports, drone racing, wrestling and lacrosse. Duties & Responsibilities: - Works directly with facilities team and event staff, to oversee managements of aquatics programming with a focus on event management - Works with facilities team and events team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales, marketing and event objectives. - Assist with day-to-day supervision of lifeguards - Meet Director at SPIRE Run events
- Assist in camps, training and clinic program during the off-season - Proficient in Colorado Timing System - Must be trustworthy and reliable - Maintain good attendance and punctuality - Maintain SPIRE standards and reputation in the industry Requirements: - Three to five years of aquatics event experience - Swim Meet and Team Management Knowledge - Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays - Registered with USA Swim for Officiating - Technology Savvy, able to troubleshoot - Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background screening - CPR. AED, Lifeguard and First Aid Certified - General Compute knowledge - Need to be able to lift 50lbs Compensation: - Annual Salary range of $45,000- $60,000 a year depending on experience - Competitive benefit package - Paid holidays and vacation PI17b37cedadc0-3410 |
