As part of Disney's world-class Legal & Global Affairs Department, the Privacy Legal Team is made up of subject-matter experts who are responsible for providing comprehensive support in the areas of data privacy, information security, and data governance to Disney's diverse businesses around the globe. Our mission is to guide and support legal compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and policies while simultaneously enabling Disney to deliver the entertainment, experiences, inspiration, and magic that make it one of the most iconic and respected companies in the world. You will provide privacy-related legal advice across the global Disney enterprise, with a focus on the Disney Experiences segment. Disney Experiences is the global hub that brings Disney's stories, characters, and franchises to life through theme parks and resorts, cruise and vacation experiences, and consumer products. Collaborating with legal colleagues, business stakeholders, and other key partners, you will advise on initiatives that range from tech and digital to marketing and operations. In doing so, you'll help shape Disney's philosophy, policies, and practices concerning data governance.
The hiring range for this position in California is $169,500 - $219,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. |
