AUDIT & ASSURANCE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT POSITION SUMMARY: The Audit & Assurance Senior Accountant is responsible for leading audit and assurance engagements, directing staff and providing superior client service as well as being flexible to support other Firm service lines on an as needed basis. Essential Job Functions: - Proactively understand client needs and recommend innovative solutions based on deep industry knowledge.
- Ensure timely and clear communication with internal engagement executives and clients, meeting internal deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
- Quickly identify and address engagement and project issues, ensuring smooth progress and resolution.
- Monitor project and engagement progression through wrap-up, report issuance, and archiving, ensuring client satisfaction and success.
- Collaborate effectively with internal team members to achieve efficient and impactful outcomes.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality with internal and external information.
- Stay current with accounting and auditing guidance and developments across all Practice Lines.
- Lead, develop, and support Staff and Interns, nurturing their growth and enhancing team performance.
- Adhere to Firm policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and excellence.
- Actively participate in Firm committees and activities, contributing to the organization's success.
- Champion the Firm's reputation in the community and through professional organization involvement.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years in public accounting or equivalent industry experience
- CPA certification is preferred or in-progress toward obtaining CPA certification
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple client engagements
