Lifeguard Triangle Swim School

Job Purpose:

We are looking for part-time lifeguards. Lifeguards are to ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for all of our members, athletes, and guests.

Duties and Certifications:

Hold current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or equivalent

Maintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming pools

Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols

Be alert and proactive to prevent accidents

Control and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols

Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency and accident management procedures

Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents

Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations

Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene

Maintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levels

Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance

Ensure that all aquatic areas are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis
