This opportunity is based at a 250-bed academic community hospital that serves as a designated ACS and State of Arizona Level I Adult/Level II Pediatric Trauma/Level I Burn Center. The hospital is a teaching institution with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency Program.


Position Highlights:

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery services in both elective and emergent care settings.

  • Manage a full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients, with opportunities to perform Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular Surgery (preferred but not required).

  • Assist in the development and growth of the Plastic Surgery clinical service line.

  • Participate in shared call coverage for trauma and plastic surgery patients.

  • Contribute to the education and mentorship of residents within the General Surgery Residency Program.

  • Collaborate on research opportunities and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency training program.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.

  • Previous faculty experience in an academic environment is preferred.

  • Strong commitment to team-based care and clinical excellence.
