Description: Liberty Cares With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT CARE SERVICES (LPN LICENSE REQUIRED)

Job Summary: - Screen and interview prospective Resident Care Aides. Check references and hire according to all policies and procedures. Complete all paperwork and computer data input for the hiring of staff. Supervises all resident care aides and follows disciplinary policies and procedures.
- Uses the company Time Management program to Schedule for proper coverage of the Community. Organize and participate with on-call staff to ensure proper coverage. (Maintain On-Call book.) Coordinate orientation and training along with proper paperwork for staff in cooperation with the Area Directors, Director of Resident Care Services and Administrator
- Coordinate TB skin testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations for all employees with the Administrator and maintain up-to-date records.
- Participate in the Safety Committee meetings and all other meetings as deemed appropriate.
- Implement and teach general orientation for all new employees.
- Work a scheduled shift if necessary.
- Perform projects and/or tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director of Resident Care Services or Administrator.
Job Requirements: - Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be an LPN and have experience in geriatric resident care as well as healthcare policies and procedures with a focus on interpersonal relationship building and attention for detail.
- Supervisory experience is necessary
- Must be willing to care for geriatric residents and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
- Must be willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
- Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other nursing staff, other departments, and families and visitors.
- Must be kind and respectful to residents, staff, and visitors.
- Must be able to use equipment without jeopardizing the safety of self, others, or equipment and use supplies safely and economically.
- Wears approved uniform or approved dress code and nametag.
- Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Community policies and procedures.
- Must attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required as well as complete online training. Must have computer skills and software program experience. Must be able to use Workforce Management or other scheduling software.
