Refinery Turnaround Reliability Engineer | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description:
Responsible for Turnaround (TAR) Group Work Packages (WP) . Provide Project Engineering support utilizing internal Engineering and Designer/Draftsmen to produce the TAR WP. Assist TAR group with specifying and verifying the replacement of TAR equipment or components. Assist the Reliability Group with updating the bill of materials and equipment replacements during the TAR as well as projects being executed during either Non-TAR or TAR windows.
Search weekly for TAR Work Orders and identify which ones require engineering support. Verify with accounting if the WO request is Capital, Expense or TAR budget. Submit the Project Submittal for WO that are estimated to be greater than $25,000. Perform the Stage Project Management for any Project Submittal assigned to the TAR group. Perform the TAR work package compiling verifying the proper piping spec, verify the proper metallurgy, and managing the design and drafting of the TAR WP. Perform entering of PRIs on TAR Group and Reliability TAR projects. Approve invoicing on TAR Groups and Reliability TAR projects. Managing construction execution Developing project cost estimates Verification of the installation of internal components match design prior to vessel closure.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience in heavy industry or construction. Experience in Petrochemical Industry preferred. Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Mechanical PE License, preferred.
Proficiency in computer skills such as, Microsoft office, Primavera, Auto-Cad. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience communicating with equipment vendors. Ability to travel and manage multiple assignments. PI51ffc5- |
