The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, student engagement, and hospitality and a commitment to ensuring the SCDC serves as an inclusive and vibrant gathering space for the campus community.

- Partner with IT on integration of technology with existing campus technology and establish protocols for technology maintenance.
- Be an active participant in developing communications and marketing plans for the new building.

Building Operations & Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Student Center, ensuring the building is safe, clean and welcoming.
- Establish close working relationships with Student Affairs and Dining Services with clear delineation of responsibilities.
- Coordinate with facilities and campus police on maintenance, custodial, and physical security to maintain a high standard of facility care.
- Manage building reservations and space usage, balancing the needs of different student organizations, staff, faculty, and external guests.
- Assist in the development and management of the budget for the Student Center, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with the College's financial goals.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment that encourages student involvement and supports diverse communities.
- Lead and mentor a team of student staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between students, staff, faculty, and administration to enhance campus life and promote the center as a community hub.
Policy Development & Implementation:
- Establish and enforce policies related to the use of the student center, including space reservations, conduct, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with college policies, state regulations, and health and safety standards.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate closely with campus partners and the events management team on a range of events and programs, including large-scale campus events like family weekend, homecoming, commencement, etc.
Collaboration & Community Building:
