Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist - Part-time |
Description: Overview: Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy is hiring! We have an opening for a Part-time North Carolina Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist with pediatric experience in our Cary, NC pediatric outpatient clinic. This has the potential to grow to full-time if interested. Afterschool/evening hours are our time of highest demand. This position is currently Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon/evenings but can be modified to fit an ideal candidate.

Job Type: Part-time (This position has the potential become Full-time)
Pay: $40 per visit
Compensation will be base on experience. Responsibilities:
Essential Functions for Pediatric Physical Therapist Position:
- Instructs, motivates, and assists our young patients to increase their functioning using a fun playful approach.
- Educates parents and empowers them to work with their children effectively at home
- Timely documentation
- Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patients' responses to treatment and progress and reports orally or in writing to Pediatric Physical Therapist.
- Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills for Pediatric Physical Therapist Position:
- Current North Carolina PT License
- Must have a minimum 1-2 years pediatric experience but will consider new grad with strong outpatient pediatric experience with referral from CI (Course Instructor).
- Team player with enthusiasm for treating children.
