Vessel Operations Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a Vessel Field Engineer to lead the readiness for vessel operations and act as the project representative on board the vessel.


Vessel Operations Engineer Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the general preparation and related interfaces with all the departments related to the scope (engineering, procurement, post order services and assets, installation engineering)
  • Lead the subcontracting activities (survey & positioning, ROV services, NDT, diving, pre-commissioning, etc. as applicable) associated with the construction vessel
  • Interface with procurement / fabrication departments for the delivery of incorporated items on the offshore site and, to take care of transportation vessels preparation associated with the cargo to be provided to the construction vessel
  • Coordinate the offshore operation on board the installation vessel as project representative on board
  • Lead the installation vessel project HR preparation and equipment preparation
  • Lead for the project requirements, close-out and invoicing procthe mobilization / demobilization preparation of the installation vessel
  • Compile information and return of experience

Vessel Operations Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics, Structural or Civil Engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in offshore construction activities
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards of offshore Oil & Gas facilities design, construction, and Installation
