SUMMARY: Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is responsible for providing medical services to the clients of The Crossroads Center. The CNP will provide psychotherapy and medical somatic services to the clients as directed by the Medical Director. The CNP will provide medication management care for those patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment Program and provide support when needed to the Outpatient and Residential Services programs. The CNP is responsible for leadership and management of the dosing team. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: To perform this work successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Nursing Degree with licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the State of Ohio, certification/experience with Behavioral Health Experience a plus. 1+ years' experience treating adults. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the State of Ohio, Buprenorphine Certified. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts or moves up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
