SUMMARY OF POSITION


Responsible for maintenance of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and our computer network, including maintenance of hardware and software.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Provide day-to-day support for our EMR, athenaOne. Understand all aspects of our EMR. Manage interfaces and other supporting applications (telehealth, faxing, medical images).


Provide day-to-day support for a variety of business software applications. Research and implement new software applications for Clinic use.


Provide day-to-day support of our computer equipment, including PCs, laptops, networks, and other peripheral devices.


Work with our EMR vendor and other resources to track and report a variety of data quality measures to outside organizations.


Collaborates with network administrator to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends changes.


Creates and curates' documents related to operational functions adhering to technical management guidelines.


Educate staff on procedures and proper use of software applications to ensure quality measures are being taken.


Serve as primary contact with our outside managed IT services vendor.

SKILLS


Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.


Ability to pay close attention to detail when coding, testing, and debugging applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.


A willingness to learn new technologies and tools quickly to adapt to evolving project requirements. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Understanding of end-user needs and the ability to develop solutions that meet customer requirements and improve user experience.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


General knowledge of applications including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and Excel



QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED


Preferred: Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.


Experience in healthcare and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred


May be required to work on-call or long hours in case of network malfunction
