Job Title: Director Strategic Initiatives & Projects

Reports To: CEO

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00/Yearly

Follows directions:Follows all written and verbal instructions provided by management, project leader, etc.

Appearance:Maintains an appropriate appearance and dresses in accordance with the established dress code guidelines to your respective position.

Safety:Follows all rules, guideline, and practices. Informs supervisor / manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 
   Strategic Planning and Execution:
   • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives related by optimizing processes and reducing costs.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategy with overall business objectives.
   • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies and automations solutions within the warehousing and supply chain industry.
   • Report on the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
   
   


2. 
   Operational Excellence:
   • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.
   • Lead the implementation of automation solutions and technologies to improve productivity, safety and quality.
   • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all supply chain and warehousing activities.
   
   


3. 
   Leadership and Management:
   • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
   • Provide leadership and guidance to managers in the areas of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
   • Support training programs and initiatives to enhance team skills and promote professional growth.
   • Develop business cases and manage budgets for strategic initiatives.
   • Monitor financial performance against the business case and implement corrective actions as necessary.
   • Maintain productive and value-driven relationships with key vendors and partners.
   • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive value.
   
   

Qualifications:

• 
  Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
  
  


• 
  Experience:
  • At least 12 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or warehousing, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving operational improvements.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Project management and execution experience.
  
  


• 
  Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on day-to-day operational needs.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast, and optimize supply chain costs.
  • Deep knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehousing technologies.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
