Description:
Responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance, and repair of the community center to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and events. Key duties include cleaning and resupplying facilities, inspecting and addressing maintenance needs, managing inventory, and preparing the center for scheduled activities. This role also involves routine inspections, minor repairs, safety compliance, and responding to after-hours or emergency situations as needed.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee regularly conducts repairs and maintenance in a residential environment, often requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position may involve working in non-climate-controlled settings with exposure to extreme temperatures, fluctuating conditions, loud noise levels (85+ decibels), hazardous materials, power tools, and industrial hazards. Additional exposures may include water, atmospheric conditions, electric shock, slipping hazards such as ice, working at heights with fall risks, and other potentially hazardous working conditions.
The physical demands outlined here represent the requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this role successfully. This position involves heavy lifting and exertion of up to 50 pounds.
