Position: Collaborating Physician Family Medicine


Description:

Currently, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Collaborating Physician, Family Medicine. The Collaborating Physician will work in conjunction with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients at all ages. The role involves monitoring and ensuring high standards of patient care, adherence to medical protocols, prescriptive regulation and facilitating a collaborative and efficient clinical environment.






General job duties:



  • Patient Care

  • None unless specifies by the Chief Clinical Officer.

  • Collaboration and Supervision:

  • Serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, providing clinical guidance.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all clinical practices comply with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.

  • Stay current with best practices, emerging research, and advancements in medical care.

  • Education and Training:

  • Mentor and support professional development of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health-care staff.

  • Compliance with organization policies and procedures and required training.

Qualifications:



  • Current Ohio license to practice medicine (MD or DO).

  • Must be Board certified or provide letter indicating qualification to sit for certification with expectation of obtaining certification within one year.

  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring role.
