Get to Know Your Team:
- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
- Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
- Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats while applying radiation and physical safety measures.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
- Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
- Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
- Basic Life Support certification
