  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.



Responsibilities





  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing Occupational Therapy services to patients according to the established plan of care.

  • Communicate and document treatment including patients' progress toward established goals according to the department's policies and procedures.

  • Serve as a resource person for the team and the department; participate in orientation for new staff.

  • Participate in teaching activities for Occupational Therapy Assistant students and other health-related students.

  • Work within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.



Qualifications




Job Requirements:



  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Graduate from accredited OTA program

  • Oklahoma State COTA license

  • Active BLS certification
