Provide project management support for Project Managers through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Support and collaborate with company superintendents, foreman, engineers, detailers, and management to deliver quality and profitable projects. Position Requirements
1. Assist in the bid process and the procurement of new work. 2. Estimate and negotiate change orders. 3. Track, forecast, report labor hours and material costs. 4. Buyout major equipment and subcontracts. 5. Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials. 6. Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontract. 7. Maintain and control documents in compliance with UMC Standards as well as contractual compliance. 8. Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/contract integrated project schedule. 9. Review contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications. 10. Prepare fabrication shop work package including detail drawing review, material take off and buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget. 11. Ensure full compliance with UMC Safety Program at the jobsite. 12. Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each employee's essential job functions.
