FTE 1 Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 80 Work Shift Day: 8 hours Job Description Leveraging expertise in clinical operations, the analyst will drive the development, optimization, and support of clinical systems. This includes gathering specifications, configuring and testing systems, making modifications, activating new features, and providing ongoing support. Working closely with end users-physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other key stakeholders-the analyst will gather insights, define requirements, and conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. The analyst will lead efforts to assess application effectiveness and ensure optimal usage to support the organization's evolving needs. As a technical and operational resource, this position provides essential support and guidance to management, supervisors, and staff across the hospital, helping to achieve key goals related to systems development and utilization. Additionally, the analyst mentors junior team members in informatics and system implementation. This role may require campus-to-campus travel and includes Tier 3 support, as well as participation in on-call support rotations. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Master's degree in healthcare field preferred or equivalent work experience. 2. At least two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic 3. Experience coordinating team projects. 4. Supervisory, project management and/or staff education experience 5. Minimum five years' experience implementing Clinical/Revenue Cycle Applications 6. Experienced user of clinical information systems such as Epic, SCC SoftLaboratory, Mediware HCLL, Cerner CoPath products or revenue cycle/ business systems such as Cirius, Passport, 3m 360 and Escription, preferred. 7. Knowledge of medical terminology 8. Excellent communication oral and written, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills. Proven ability with Excel, Word, and Outlook. 9. Ability to work with minimum supervision and to interact well with all levels of employees and physicians throughout the organization, participate in intra- and interdepartmental collaboration, and handle multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.10. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to do report writing, meeting minutes, and update/change/make project plans. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS 1. If configuring Epic, Epic Optime certification is required 2. Valid Healthcare certification or licensure preferred 3. CPC or CCS AHIMA certification for HIM Analyst preferred Salary Range: $64.27 - $96.41 USD Hourly The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
