Position: Pathology Physician |
Description: Come be a part of a fantastic Pathology team in Michigan!
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
- ongoing weekly support for 3 - 6 months with the option to extend
- Availability Preference needed is 14 consecutive shifts per month
- Call - alternate weekly starting Friday at 5 pm to next Friday at 8 am
- Temp privileging
Practice:
- Hospital Based
- Rotating Call
- 1 full-time pathologist in addition to locum
- Current pathologist works in tandem with locum
- Histotechnologists
- Charting: NovoPath / Allscripts-Sunrise
Requirements:
- Must have active MI license OR IMLC and DEA
- Must have case logs in the past 12 months
Cases & Procedures:
- Approximately 35-50 cases read per day
- Grossing own specimens
- Cut own frozen sections on Cryostat
- Procedures: hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
- Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical, GI pathology, GU pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology
