Position: Hematologist/Oncologist
Location: Pennsylvania
Type: Locum Tenens (minimum 1-year commitment)
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term locum tenens position. This role involves outpatient-only responsibilities, with support from a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP). The ideal candidate will commit to a minimum of one year.
Responsibilities:
- Onsite coverage, 3 days per week (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with flexibility).
- Patient load of approximately 15 patients per day, handling a typical community-based hematology/oncology case mix.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies, if desired.
- No call responsibilities or non-heme/onc infusion duties.
Requirements:
License: Active Pennsylvania state license
Board Status: Board Certified in Medical Oncology
Certifications: BLS and DEA required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hematology/oncology practice experience.
Additional Information:
EMR: Aria (Varian Product)
Location: Accessible to Buffalo, Rochester, and Elmira airports
Patient Mix: Adult hematology/oncology, no pediatric cases
Support: Full-time APP for clinical support
