Description: Position Summary: Community LIFE is changing the way our communities view aging. We are seeking passionate leader with a desire to be on the cutting edge of healthcare and aging well. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established yet growing organization, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, which integrates population health management and comprehensive health and social services (operating as LIFE - Living Independently for the Elderly). Community LIFE is committed to helping seniors stay at home safely for as long they are able. In a newly created role, the Associate Medical Director will provide medical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to our elderly participants. This role involves collaborating with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement clinical policies, improve quality assurance, and enhance patient outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Leadership: Provide medical expertise and guidance to the PACE program, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
Patient Care: Oversee and participate in direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
Education and Training: Provide ongoing education and training to medical staff and participate in professional development activities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an internal medicine or family medicine residency program. MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Licensure and Certification: Board certification in a relevant medical specialty and active medical license in good standing. Valid Driver's License.
Experience: Experience in geriatric or palliative medicine.
Skills: Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
