Description: For this dynamic and well-established accounting firm located in Mechelen, we are looking for a Dutch-speaking accountant to join their team made up of 10 people.Accountant - Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, managing their accounting and providing them with tailor-made tax advice and optimization:
- Handle clients' accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all financial transactions.
- Prepare client's annual accounts
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals & companies
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Assist clients during tax audits and resolve related inquiries.
- Advise clients on VAT, payroll, and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on Belgian tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Accountant - About You
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant. Candidates with no experience in an accounting firm can be considered for this role, with demonstrated knowledge in tax through their studies or career
- A degree in accounting is essential, an extra degree in tax is a plus
- Fluency is Dutch, French and/or English is a plus
Accountant - The Offier
Competitive salary: €3,000 - €4,000 per month, based on experience.
