Description: Seeking a BC/BE Nocturnist to serve as an admitting and cross-coverage physician in central Connecticut. Details: There are two-night shift times, 6pm-6am and 8pm-8am Only 12 shifts per month, flexible scheduling Average of 8 admissions, per night, per MD Two physicians on at night Cross coverage for two units Nocturnist responds to RRTs, on their designated units, and non-ICU codes ICU is closed with 24h APRN coverage If a patient needs ICU transfer, the APRN will consult and transfer the patient to the ICU No procedures will be required Compensation includes Salary+RVU+Quality (bonuses paid quarterly) We support your development and wellbeing through the respected Provider Leadership Development Institute and the groundbreaking Office of Provider Wellness The Community: Located in central Connecticut, this charming town offers a mix of suburban tranquility and urban accessibility.
