Orthopedic Surgery Locum Tenens Job in Texas Starts March/April 2025

Jackson and Coker is helping a Texas based hospital system with an orthopedic surgery locum tenens position that starts in March or April of 2025. This position requires a Texas state medical license and board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery. The position starts as soon as you are credentialed, which can take up to 90 days. You will average six consults and two cases in a 24-hour shift. You will work one long weekend per month, either Thursday through Sunday or Friday through Monday. You will perform general orthopedic surgery and take general ED call. Job Requirements for Assignment :

Texas state medical license
Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
This position starts as soon as credentialed (up to 90 days once started)
Averaging 6 consults and 2 cases in a 24 hour shift
Seeking one long weekend per month; Either Thursday-Sunday or Friday- Monday
General Orthopedic Surgery
Level 3 Trauma but currently operating as a level 2 Trauma Center
General ED Call
Averaging 6-8 hours in the hospital per shift
Shifts at 7a-7a
