CenterWell Senior Care Centers, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is seeking a Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician for our Senior Care Centers.






You have the opportunity take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinates of health are impacting health outcomes. We have a unique care model that sets us apart for patients and providers. We are experts in senior-focused primary care with a multidisciplinary approach.






A day in the life of a CenterWell physician








  1. Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; no weekends, and 8 paid holidays off


  2. Flexible schedule available, if needed

  3. Join an experienced team with two Advanced Practitioners and a Care Team

  4. See 12-15 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time with patients

  5. Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)

  6. Acts as a lead and active participant and key source of medical expertise with the Care Team through daily huddles

  7. Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care





Required Qualifications




  1. Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine

  2. Board certified or Board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  3. Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)

  4. Current, unrestricted DEA license



Preferred Qualifications:




  1. Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with an understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment in a value-based relationship environment.

  2. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.

  3. Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
