Description: Position Overview We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens call coverage for two weeks per month. This role offers a balanced schedule and the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday morning to the following Monday morning, two weeks per month.
Coverage Includes: Hospital, Emergency Department, and phone calls across the health system.
Daily Duties: 4-8 consults/rounds per day with anesthesia available in-house 24/7.
Clinical Support:
- 3 Interventional Radiology physicians.
- APP support Monday through Thursday.
EMR: Epic.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one year actively practicing as a Gastroenterologist.
Case Logs: At least 24 patient encounters in the past 12 months.
Licensure: Active MI license or eligibility through IMLC.
