Position: Medical Assistant job in Spokane WA


Description:

Location: Spokane, WA


JobType: Full-time orPart-time (depending on schedule)


ExpectedHours: Maximum Hoursper Week: 40. North Office Hours: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Valley Office Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30 PM


ScheduleOptions:



  • 4-hourshift

  • 8-hourshift

  • 10-hourshift

  • Mondayto Friday

  • Weekends:9:00 AM to 1:30 PM


Compensation:$20.00 - $26.00 perhour (dependent on licensure: CMA vs. RMA, and experience).



ClinicalDuties:



  • Assistpediatricians during patient examinations and procedures.

  • Measureand record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.

  • Administermedications and vaccines as directed by providers.

  • Performbasic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.

  • Educatepatients and parents about procedures, treatments, and aftercare.

  • Providecomfort and support to children during visits.


AdministrativeDuties:



  • Scheduleand manage patient appointments efficiently.

  • Maintainaccurate and confidential patient records.

  • Handlephone inquiries from patients and parents in a professional manner.

  • Verifyinsurance information and process payments.

  • Sendappointment and medication refill reminders.


SpecialDuties:



  • Sterilizemedical instruments and ensure examination rooms are clean and sanitized.

  • Assistwith special procedures such as circumcisions and point-of-care testing.


Requirements:



  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.

  • CertifiedMedical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills.

  • Compassionateattitude, especially toward children and families.

  • Abilityto work effectively as part of a team and multitask in a busy environment.

  • Previousexperience in pediatrics is a plus.
