Bid Due Date: 09/04/24, 5pm EST Position Overview: Facility is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage due to a staffing shortage. This position involves working in a hospital setting performing independent anesthesia cases with a backup anesthesiologist on-site. Responsibilities:
- Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
- 8-hour shifts are also available.
- Case Load:
- The facility performs 3,600 IP/OP surgeries per year.
- Required procedures include Ortho, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, and gastric bypass. Minimal vascular cases. No pediatric cases.
- Support Staff:
- Anesthesia providers, CRNA, and Anesthesia Tech.
Qualifications:
- Certification:
- Board Certified - Required.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA - Required.
- Licensing:
- Active Nebraska License - Required.
- Fellowship - Required.
- Experience: Clean malpractice history is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available at the time of name clear.

- Timeframe: Within 60 days.
