Description: I am working with MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center in Waterloo, IA and MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center in Cedar Falls, IA and they are looking for some Orthopedic Surgery 24 hour call coverage for their groups vacation coverage over the next several months. I wanted to touch base with you to see if you have any availability to help out. The job description is below and please let me know if you have any interest in being presented to this particular job opportunityMercyOne Waterloo Medical CenterWaterloo, IAMercyOne facility366 bed facilityLevel 3 Trauma Center27K Annual ER VolumeMercyOne Cedar Falls Medical CenterCedar Falls, IAMercyOne facility100 bed facilityLevel IV Trauma Center33K Annual ER VolumeAmerican Healthcare Services Association vendor management jobThese two facilities are looking for gap and vacation 24 hour call coverage late February ongoingThe dates of coverage needed are:Feb 27-March 2May 1-4July 31-Aug 3Oct 30-Nov 2The group will only look at candidates that can fulfill at least stints of their coverage needThe physician would be on 24 hour call for both facilities during each stintNo clinic dutiesNo supervision10-20 patients per day in total for both locationsFour full-time Orthopedic Surgeons in the groupFour full-time APPS in the groupMedical Imaging: YesLab and Pharmacy: YesProcedures offered in the practice:-History and physical exam admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages to correct or treat various conditions, illnesses, and injuries of the extremities, spine, and associated structures by medical, surgical, and physical means.-Such conditions include, but are not limited to, trauma, infections, tumors, metabolic disturbances of the musculoskeletal system, deformities, injuries, and degenerative diseases of the spine, hands, feet, knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow, and include primary and secondary muscular problems and the effects of central or peripheral nervous system lesions of the musculoskeletal system.-Orthopedic surgeons may provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies.-They may also assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.EMR: Cerner until May 31st 2025 and EPIC June 1st 202530-45 days to privilege All candidates must have an active Iowa license at the time of presentationAll candidates must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible$2500 per 24 hour call (No gratis hours included)$375 per hour for any hour worked in the facility while on call (No gratis hours included) Zach Worley Recruiting RepresentativeThe Talent Societyo. c. f. w.
