Aya Locums has an immediate opening for the following position: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Speciality: Pain Management in Lovington, NM - $80-$100/hr

Specialty: NP

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Shift Details: 10/hr days, 40/hrs per week

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:30a-6:30

Work Details:

Support staff: 1 Physician specializing in Pain, 1 NP, 2 RN s 3 MA's,

Patients per day: 18-20 patients per day

Patient population/age: Adult

Department Description: Pain Management Clinic that provides interventional pain management and medication management. The physician in the clinic also performs procedures two days per week and is very knowledgeable in Pain Management to provide help with any questions the NP may encounter. This clinic goes to great lengths to ensure the safety of its patients and to ensure that prescriptions are provided in a safe and ethical manner, following strict protocols.

EMR: Epic

Skills required: Knowledge of chronic pain management and prescribing medications. (No Suboxone Prescriptions)

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient Clinic

Requirements:

Board Certification: yes

License required: yes, or IMLC.

DEA: yes

CSR: yes

Certifications required: BLS

Minimum experience required: 1 year
