• On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights
• Monday-Wednesday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10a, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
• Thursday-Sunday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
• No Call
• Will likely need several APPs (or SFA) for surge coverage
• Expectations for orientation: If comfortable with MediTech, 1 orientation shift, 2 shadow shifts, Candidate Parameters
• Experienced, high volume, level II trauma center
• 423 hospital beds; 49 ED beds
• 70,000 visits/year
• Daily admissions: 25%
• Consults Per Day: Varies, we have multi-specialty support, and consultant backup 24/7
• Patient population: Urban
• Trauma level II, 24/7 trauma surgeons on site
• Primary Chest Pain Center
• Standard EM privileges
• EM Physicians on staff per shift: 2-3, Single Coverage, overnight for 4
• Board Certified - ABEM Required
• BC - EM Residency Trained Required
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS Required
