Description: Facility in Anderson, SC seeking Rheumatology locums coverage Rates: $250/hr Job Overview:
- Position: Rheumatologist.
- Start Date: Onboarding ASAP for future coverage; maternity leave coverage starting February.
- Practice Setting: Office/Clinic-based.
Key Details:
- Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
- Patient Volume: 15-20 patients/day.
- Patient Demographic: Adult (100% Arthritis/Autoimmune cases).
- Support Staff:
- 1 Nurse Practitioner.
- 2 CMAs.
- 1 Front Desk Staff.
- EMR: Epic.
- Exam Rooms: 6.
- Current Rheumatologists: 1.
Required Procedures:
- Joint Injections:
- Hyalgan.
- Supartz.
- Corticosteroids.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Rheumatology: Required.
- Active South Carolina Medical License: Required.
- Certifications: BLS Required.
- Experience: No new graduates; must have significant clinical experience, strong ratings, and robust training.
- Background: 100% clean background preferred; minor malpractice incidents may be considered.
