Physician / Surgery - General / West Virginia / Locum Tenens / General/Ortho Surgeon opportunity in

Hospital employed General or Ortho Surgeon opportunity located in the picturesque SW West Virginia area nestled within the Appalachian Mountains.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible General or Ortho Surgeon or Fellowship trained if willing to do general cases


• Growing practice in existing clinic - hospital employed


• Mon-Fri - 40 hours a week


• Clinic call - providers take call for their own patients - approx 25 ppd


• Hospital call - 1:2 and required 10 days min


• Extra call pay starting on day 11 - avg 13 calls per week and 5 times coming in of the 13


• 2 days a week in the OR and willing to increase if provider shows they are busy


• Will see hips, knees, shoulders, trigger finger, carpal, fractures, joint replacements, arthroscopic knees/joints


• Once volume supports staff will consider adding an APP once ramped up
