Daily schedule: Plus Call

Practice setting: Hospital

Types of cases: General, orthopedics, straight-forward cases, endoscopy, and OB. No hearts or heads.

Number of cases: Approximately 7,200 annual cases, including 850 OB cases.

Ages: Adults

Requirements or additional information:

Anesthesia care team model: 3.5 MDs and 9 CRNAs.

EMR system: Epic.

Facilities include 6 ORs, 1 OB room, 2 digestive health rooms, 8 L&D rooms, 1 OB prep/recovery room, and 1 OB OR (OB located on a different wing and floor than the main ORs).

Beeper call required: approximately 1:7 (CRNA is primary responder on call with physician backup). 30-minute response time required.

Physician call: 1:5.

CRNAs medically supervised.
