Work Schedule: 8PM - 8AM, 2-4 weeks per month, flexible 7 on / 7 off







Job Summary:


A multi-specialty clinic in New York is seeking a locum tenens Hospitalist for an 84-day assignment starting in February 2025. The position involves night shifts with a flexible schedule, focusing on inpatient medicine admissions and consultations.







Responsibilities:


- Perform patient rounding


- Handle admissions and consults from various services (orthopedics, surgery, occasionally psychiatry)


- Manage approximately 10 admissions and consults per night


- Provide care for stable intubated patients


- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation







Requirements:


- Board-certified or board-eligible Hospitalist


- Licensed to practice in New York


- Ability to work night shifts (8PM - 8AM)


- Experience in managing diverse inpatient cases


- Proficiency in Epic EMR system







Additional Information:


- No procedures required (e.g., central lines, arterial lines, intubation)


- Potential for assignment extension
