Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Locum Gastroenterology Physician to provide inpatient care. This position offers the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team while enjoying competitive compensation and a flexible schedule.
Job Details:
Start Date: March 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
Duration: Ongoing
Shift Type: 24-hour pager call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM) with call back
Setting: Hospital-based inpatient coverage
Procedures:
ERCP: Required
EUS: Highly preferred, but not mandatory
- 3 4 outpatient procedures daily, plus inpatient procedures and consults
Patient Population: Adults only
EMR System: Cerner
Pay: $3500 daily. $425/hour call back rate
Requirements:
Board Certification: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
State License: Active Iowa license (IMLC not accepted)
Certifications: ACLS required
Experience:
- Must be willing and able to work inpatient
- ERCP required
- EUS highly preferred
Malpractice/Background: Clean record required for quick privileges
