Job Details
- Board Certified Pediatrician
- 247 coverage with 16 hours of on call responsibilities
- 8 hours in house per day (8:30 AM-4:30 PM)
- 8-15 newborns per day and 0-2 peds pts per day
- Call responsibilities include Nurse phone consultations, potential admissions from the ED, and attending high-risk deliveries or stabilizing sick newborns (calls come from Nurses and ./or ER doctors- not from parents)
- APRN support 3 days a week and CRNA is available 24/7 for epidurals and urgent/emergent C-sections
- 90% of inpatient duties involve managing newborns, including nursery coverage.
