HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT: Creates an optimal environment for the Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care. Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager. Assists in all aspects of implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information system. Provides the technology, supplies, policies and procedures for quality work. Serves as an interface with administration and clients. Assists the Section Head in assuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set forth by TMH, TJC and CAP. A120 Reports: Medical Lab Section Head Supervises: None WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY: Required Education: Associate/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution Required Experience: Two (2) years of experience working in a professional environment, including serving in a leadership capacity Required Certification/License/Registry: Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel) If you are interested in becoming a part of TMH's legacy of quality & compassionate healthcare, we want to know you.
