Assignment Details :
Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7am-7am Support: Onsite Lab, Onsite X-Ray Setting: Hospital o Outpatient GI not required Volume: 16 patients per day with 6 consults Required Procedures: Colonoscopy Liver Biopsy Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry Esophageal Manometry Interpretation Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Upper GI Endoscopy Biopsy Foreign Body Removal Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser) Injection of Varices Banding of Varices ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) preferred but not required PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Diagnostic Therapeutic Board Certification required Active South Carolina license is required Clean background is required (for quick creds) Hospital setting with Adult Gastro patients Trauma Level 2; four physicians in group EMR: EPIC
