Position: RN Staff Development Nurse

Pay range: Up to $41/hr.


Job Responsibilities:

  • The RN Staff Development Nurse manages compliance TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccines, and flu vaccines and compliance of in-services
  • Coordinates and leads educational programs for staff, including orientations, in-services, competencies, and training programs, and completes exit interviews
  • Assists with recruiting Nurses and Nursing Assistants
  • Renders care to residents according to nursing standards and policies
  • Assess infection control problems and makes recommendations
  • Monitors infection control practices and employee compliance
  • Initiates and revises infection control policies and procedures
  • Conducts outbreak investigations and initiates control measures
  • Consults with department heads and physicians as needed to improve care
  • Initiates follow-up on employee/resident exposure to communicable diseases


Job Requirements:

  • Currently Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio
  • Associate Degree or its equivalent, majoring in Nursing
  • Infection Control experience preferred
  • Every other weekend
  • On call requirement
