Description: LTS, LLC, a premier manufacturer based in Houston, TX, specializes in High Pressure-High Temperature Flowlines, Pigging & Packaged Skid Systems, and Flow Control Products, including chokes, ball valves, check valves, control valves, and heat exchangers. We are seeking a talented Production Manager for our Belle Chasse manufacturing facility in Louisiana. Candidate must be a proven leader and have specific experience in precision machining and welding technologies with forged carbon & Chromium / Nickel / Molybdenum alloys. Candidate must be able to lead with limited direction & interact effectively. Demonstrated delivery of manufacturing metrics; Safety, Quality, Productivity & On-Time Delivery is essential. Position is salaried, manages a team of approx. 20 and reports to the President. Responsibilities: • Recruit skilled labor employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their performance; and oversee the development and maintenance of labor competence • Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities • Monitor employee and resource efficiencies • Confer with management, production planner, engineering, sales and shop foremen to discuss project specifications and procedures • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment • Create work orders while interpreting drawings, manuals, specifications, or procedures to determine sequence of operations for work order creation and processing • Ensures work continuity through shop with a sense of urgency based on priority and quality • Assists and participates in continuous improvements • Wear all PPE in accordance with LTS, LLC ESOH Manual Requirements: • 5+ years minimum experience as a Production Manager with an emphasis on machining • Production and manpower scheduling experience • Prior knowledge working within a manufacturing ERP system • Great interpersonal skills and leadership qualities and a hands-on attitude • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Experience with; HP Clamp & Hub, Flange, Ball, Check Valve & Closure Design a plus. Lean Manufacturing ISO, and Six Sigma a plus |
