Position: Radiology - Musculoskeletal Physician


Description:



  • Looking for full time provider M-F 8a-5p.

  • The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb . Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and associated ambulatory care centers.



  • Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)


  • Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.



  • This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, .e marrow sampling, and soft tissue/.e biopsy


  • Practice setting is hospital-based

  • Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound

  • Trauma Level/Designation: Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2

  • Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE

  • Teleradiology is not used for MSK

  • Patient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required



  • There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.


  • EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate

  • Credentialing timeline: usually 2-3 months (depends on if physician has IL license in hand or not
