Job Description: As an Escrow Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of escrow transactions. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of escrow accounts, communicating with clients, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records throughout the process. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process escrow transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
• Prepare and review escrow documents, including purchase agreements, title commitments, and closing statements.
• Coordinate the disbursement of funds and ensure timely closing of transactions.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the escrow process.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate, finance, or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in escrow processing or a similar role within the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of escrow procedures, title insurance, and closing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge of Michigan real estate laws and regulations is preferred.
