Position: Business Systems Administrator


Description: Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.


However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.


Position Summary:


The IT Business Systems Administrator is responsible for aligning technological initiatives with the overall business strategy and objectives. This role ensures the smooth operation of critical IT systems and mitigates risks related to technology and information security. The IT Business Systems Administrator develops and maintains information technology strategies and projects to meet the company's evolving needs


Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into effective IT strategies and implementation plans
Manage the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT business processes and workflows
Monitor IT system performance and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance efficiency and productivity
Oversee the implementation of information security controls and policies to protect the organization's data and assets
Manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements
Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other business units, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
Analyze industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative technology solutions that support the company's competitive advantage
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistent and compliant IT operations
Accomplishes financial objectives with guidance CFO by forecasting, budgeting and monitoring annual expenditures, CAP EX expenditures
Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
Comply with clients and company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Follows the guidelines set forth in by clients and the company Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.
Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.


Skills & Proficiencies:
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to information security and data privacy including software validations compliant with 21 CFR part 11
Strong interpersonal skills - being approachable, relationship building with external and internal contacts, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of business operations, IT systems, and information security principles
Strong understanding of OSi model, IPv4 network addressing
Skilled with Microsoft tools such as Windows Server 2008+, SQL, IIS, AD, etc.
Functional with T-SQL scripting
Ability to write technically proficient protocols, reports, and procedures
Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to align technological initiatives with organizational goals and strategies
Individual and Team work ethic
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and high level of engagement

Education and Experience:
Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field


Minimum of five (5) years of experience with:
IT service management frameworks
Business process improvement methodologies
Change management and organizational transformation initiatives
Managing third party vendor relationships and resources


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
