Description: Opening: Physician Specialty: Hospitalist Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: Inpatient and Outpatient Location: Iowa Contract Length: June 20-30, 2025. More dates to come for July. Schedule: Day shift, 7a-5p, Need for 5-7 shifts, preferably in a row. Details: Locums provider must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Schedule need is from June 20-30 for day shift coverage (7a-5p), prefer 5-7 shifts in a row. More dates to come for July. Possibility of OT/Call. Must have an active IA license, DEA, IA CSR, BLS Level 3 Trauma Center EMR is Cerner Patient Population: 18 years and older Procedures required: Admitting patients to hospital, take calls regarding admitted patients that the primary care providers are following. Cases per day: 6-12 admissions per shift, two rounders who round on the observation and admitted patients along with a NP.
