Description: Opening: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: Inpatient and Outpatient Location: North Dakota Contract Length: April - May 2025, specific dates needed Shifts Needed: April 4-8 (Days) April 20-21 (Nights) May 6-12 (Nights) May 11 (Days) May 15-17 (Nights) May 23-26 (Nights) May 26 (Days) Details: Ideal candidate is BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine-Will consider other specialties with EM Experience. Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS. ND Medical License or IMLC eligibility accepted DEA without restrictions, or ability to obtain. ABEM preferred; FM/IM accepted with extensive ED experience including Trauma (at least 3 years with a minimum of 250 case logs in the last year, prior work in level II trauma center or academic center Expedited hospital credentialing with the completed application Level 4 Trauma Center EMR: Meditech Provide care to a variety of patients with acute concerns that can vary greatly - mild to complex. 1.5-2 patients per hour 12 hour shifts, 24 hours of physician coverage, flexible schedule, days/nights/weekends and holidays required 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and pediatric resuscitation).
